Destination IRELAND!! We packed our bags and took the first flight to Ireland in hopes to find a wee bit of gold at the end of the rainbow. We didn’t find any gold but we struck it rich with one of the best tours in town! Paddywagon Tours not only offered roundtrip tours from Dublin to the Cliffs of Moher, but they kept us entertained the entire way there! If you find yourself with Gavin as a tour guide, prepare yourself for a good time. He will tell you jokes, folklores, and facts with the perfect number of stops to view various abbeys, castles, and towns along the way. It took about 3 to 4 hours to get there but for those of you who have a hard time being away from email or instagram for that long, don’t worry, they have wifi. Also, while it is hard to always plan ahead, we suggest researching weather conditions as it is common to have fog and storms roll through.
Follow the path toward the wall for some of the most beautiful views of the coast of Irealnd! Stroll northward along the walkway and you’ll come across a small castle used for viewing (for a small fee of course). Personally we preferred the views from just north of the castle where the safety wall ends. We stood there at the edge of the cliff with a 702 foot vertical drop off and some of the most beautiful views in the world. Lush green grass, wild flowers, roaming sheep, the massive cliffs, ocean views, and soaring birds make for scenes straight out of a movie! Its no wonder the Cliffs of Moher are one of the most popular sites in Ireland and we would definitely recommend adding this to your bucket list!
